ISI is not involved in any exporting terrorism General Pasha



ISI not exporting terrorism: Lt Gen PashaBNN GEO NEWS ISLAMABAD: Present Director General ISI Lt General Shuja Pasha briefed the All Parties Conference(APC)about the challenges the country was facing at the military front. According to sources, Lt General Pasha said that the ISI was not exporting terrorism and denied USaccusations of supporting the Haqqani network.
Sources further add that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said that there must be some reason that the world was leveling these accusations against Pakistan. Sharif called for all issues to be presented before parliament and added that the world would not believe Pakistan unless parliamentary resolutions were implemented.


Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani replied to Sharif that he would eliminate his concerns.

In Pakistan Punjab Lahore Dengue virus, is spreading dangerously BNN: The rapid spread of the Dengue virus continues across Punjab. In Lahore alone during the last 24 hours five people have died from the virus and the number of patients keeps on escalating. Latest figures released by the Punjab Health Department state that on Wednesday 412 new cases of Dengue were reported, taking the total number of cases to 4,989.
Eight Chinese engineers have also been infected with the Dengue virus and are receiving treatment at different hospitals of the city.A lase pertaining to the spread of the virus is also being heard at the Lahore High Court (LHC). The court did not receive an answer from district government and health department officials and ordered that they submit their replies by September 16.
The court stated that people were dying from Dengue and high ranking officials were not concerned. Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah accused Governor Latif Khosa and opposition leader Raja Riaz of being part of the Dengue conspiracy. The situation is dire in Faisalabad as well where within a span of 18 hours, 35 new Dengue cases were reported. KARACHI: The Supreme Court Karachi Registry resumed hearing of the Karachi suo moto case Wednesday, Geo News reported. During today�s proceedings, DG Rangers Ijaz Chaudhry informed the court that militant groups of political and ethnic parties were involved in the violence in the city. He added that a military solution was only temporary and that a permanent solution could only be established through political means.Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) lawyer, Abdul Qadir Jatoi informed the court that the killing in Karachi was being done under the guidance of political parties in order to influence the senate elections. Jatoi added that Zulfiqar Mirza had made important disclosures and was an important witness in the case. The Chief Justice remarked that if Zulfiqar Mirza said something then his affidavit should be presented in court and a petition should be filed. He further said that it was not the job of the court to record statements of witnesses and for this a separate petition had to be filed.�Why should we call Zulfiqar Mirza, if he has something to say he should record his sworn statement� Chief Justice said. A CD of Zulfiqar Mirza was also presented by the JI lawyer.The chief of Awami Tehreek, Rasul Bux Palejo said the present government was a dummy and only wanted to collect tax �the real power is with the US�.He added that everyone knew that the MQM was behind the violence but no one was willing to take their name and even certain judges were scared.The MQM also submitted a petition to become a party in the case.
